The Transportation Security UNIFIED Stakeholders Group works to keep communities secure and safe as radioactive materials are being transported across North America.

Over 100 voluntary TSUSG members come from government, law enforcement, private industry, carriers, and professional associations.
We work together to identify challenges relating to technology, policy and regulations, and professionalization across industries serving communities needing radioactive materials for medical, industrial, and research activities.
Our Purpose
Provide a forum for stakeholders to identify transport security concerns and best practices.
Our Approach
Bring all levels of stakeholders together to connect people and work on collective solutions.
Our Goal
Strengthen security for domestic transport of radioactive material across North America.
Each year, about 2,000 shipments of radioisotopes—with a combined total activity averaging nearly 60 million curies—are shipped by land, air, and sea all over the United States, engaging nearly every state.
TSUSG members collaborate to protect shipments across all modes of transportation.
